Corsair PC mod

Problem

Reimagine a standard PC case as a unique creative object that balances visual identity, functionality, hardware requirements, and the physical limitations of case modding.

Thinking

I approached the PC case as more than a container for hardware. It was a blank canvas where technology and design could become one physical experience. The challenge was to create a concept with a strong visual identity while respecting the structure, function, and character of the original case.

Process

I explored the design through concept development, form modification, material treatment, and custom detailing. Each decision was made to connect the visual concept with the physical hardware, transforming the case into a cohesive object where aesthetics, technology, and craftsmanship worked together.

Outcome

A custom PC case modification created for a Corsair PC modding event, transforming a functional piece of hardware into a distinctive physical design statement and expanding my creative practice into product design and fabrication.

Reflection

This project pushed me to think beyond the screen and work with design in the physical world. It showed me that creative design can exist at the intersection of aesthetics, technology, and craftsmanship—and that the best ideas often emerge when creative vision meets real-world constraints.
